Station Manager

Hector Gutierrez

I’m a Junior Mechanical Engineering major from Houston, Texas. I took interest in UTD TV my freshman year because, I’ve always been intrigued by the creative process. The process of taking an idea whether it be for a video, design, product, whatever and seeing it come to life has always seemed astonishing to me. The management team and myself take part in quite a bit of that, and I can honestly say I’m very excited for the great things to come this year.

I am a poet, lyricist, and songwriter. I also enjoy writing scripts, and dream of screenwriting movies. I believe without passion there is no future. Above all, I am an Art and Performance major.

Blair Collum

Hey! My name is Blair and I am a Junior who is majoring in Arts and Technology. I enjoy cameras, video editing, music, cars, and motorcycles. I joined UTD TV and became the Entertainment Director because it’s fun and I hope to broaden the entertainment side of UTD TV.

I am an undergraduate ATEC (Arts and Technology) student. Aside from being Head Editor I am also a blackbelt, an actor, a crosscountry runner, and I design the graphics for the newscast.”

I’m an Undeclared Sophomore at UTD passionate about all things filmmaking. UTD TV has given me the opportunity to meet creative people and make new friends. My goal is to make this organization a presence on campus, through videos, visual artwork, and appearances.

Technical Director

Ian Owen

I am an aspiring video game designer that is specializing in level design and world development. I am an ATEC student but the ATEC program doesn’t define me, I have gone past the degree track and have taken my future into my own hands working with MOD teams and working independently. I wound up here from a friend of mine mentioning the job, I also happen to know Web design and database management (my main job) I also maintain the equipment here at the station. I have met many new people and am looking forward to taking the organization to great heights.
